The Maniar CompactMan 14 cum is a rear-loading refuse compactor with a 14 cum rounded compaction body, mounted on a 16 ton GVW BS VI chassis. It collects household and street waste from bins and containers and compacts it inside the body, so one vehicle carries more waste on every trip. A universal bin lifter takes bins from 120 to 1100 litres, and the loading height is 1100 mm.
It is manufactured by Maniar & Co. in Ahmedabad, India. See all refuse compactors, or use the form below to get the full specification by email.
Waste is emptied into the hopper of the tail gate, either from the loading crew or from bins raised by the bin lifter at the rear of the tail gate. The lifter handles bins up to 1.1 cum, using two double acting hydraulic cylinders. The slider plate, a reinforced steel plate actuated by two hydraulic rams and running on nylon sliding blocks, carries a movable packer plate at its lower end. The packer plate clears the hopper and starts the primary compaction there, and the slider plate then moves the waste forward into the body.
To unload, the tail gate is raised by two double acting cylinders, and a telescopic double acting ejection cylinder pushes the compacted waste out of the body. Channel guides welded inside the body on both sides give the ejection plate smooth nylon-guided movement, a rubber gasket at the rear of the compaction plate keeps the load in, and a leachate collection chamber at the front of the body collects the liquid from the waste.
The CompactMan 14 cum has a 14 cum rounded compaction body on a 16 ton GVW BS VI chassis, a loading height of 1100 mm and a universal bin lifter for 120 to 1100 litre bins. Hydraulic power comes from a pump driven by the vehicle engine. For the complete specification, request it below and we will email it to you with photographs.

The CompactMan 14 cum has a 14 cum rounded compaction body. It is mounted on a 16 ton GVW BS VI chassis.
The universal bin lifter at the rear of the tail gate lifts bins from 120 to 1100 litres, up to 1.1 cum, using two double acting hydraulic cylinders.
The loading height is 1100 mm, within the 1.2 m limit from ground level, so crews can load with little physical effort.
The tail gate is raised and a telescopic double acting ejection cylinder pushes the compacted waste out of the body along nylon-guided channels. A leachate collection chamber at the front of the body collects the liquid from the waste.
A Cassapa or equivalent hydraulic pump is powered from the vehicle engine. A Walvoil or equivalent control valve with a built-in pressure relief valve protects the circuit.
The CompactMan 7 cum has a 7 cum rounded body and a 1000 mm loading height. The CompactMan 14 cum has a 14 cum rounded body and a 1100 mm loading height, on a 16 ton GVW BS VI chassis. Both use a universal bin lifter for 120 to 1100 litre bins.
